Mr K's New Role - Across School Leader,
Dear Parents of Kereru HUB,
Tim Kirkpatrick has been successful in becoming an Across School Teacher for the Gisborne Community of Learning. This involves him working together with other Gisborne teachers on professional development initiatives for the 24 schools who are part of the collective Community of Learning.
Tim will be part of the Kereru HUB three days a week and work as an Across School Teacher two days a week. This is a career opportunity for Tim as a Teacher and Leader, to develop his professional capability. We, at Makauri, will most certainly benefit from this professional learning. Tim’s role will be covered by Mrs Lawler working alongside Cheryl Johnston and Nic Somerton from the beginning of next term.
If you have any questions, please do call in and discuss with either Tim or myself. We congratulate Tim on this appointment.

Principal
