Erosion of drains next to our school.

We have been looking at the erosion of the drain walls next to our school. We noticed that the drain right next to the school had little erosion yet lots of agapanthuses plants. The drain over the road looked a lot worse and even some of the fence posts were just hanging. Not much vegetation was on that side apart from Leaderbrand lettuces a long way inside the fence. Could this be the problem??

    Hi I can See That the fence is hanging off the edge of the dirt.It could end up being a problem because if it starts getting to bad the rest of the ground could erode.

    i think whats happening is that the water has made the dirt so heaving that the bottom of it has come off and the rest of it had come with it and blocked the creek so that when it rain's it over flows and goes over on to the roads then cars can't go through.
